Title: Misfire at 1500-1900 rpm and only with low load.
Post by: Rodeha on February 24, 2025, 21:32:54
Hey, this is my first post here.

I've got a I30 Fastback, 1L TGDI, 6-speed manual.  It's done 115k km, chipped to 140 hp at 60k km.  It misfires between 1500 and 1900 rpm, not always, but more when I hold the revs steady.  Checked the plugs and coils, seem okay.  When the engine light comes on, I lose a cylinder.  Restarting clears it, but it might only run a tiny bit rough after that or it does the same at those rpm.

Hope that someone can help me.

Hi, Have you moved a coil to another cylinder, to see if the misfire moves?
