Title: Changing tensioner pulley
Post by: b2goodbath on July 03, 2025, 00:41:11
hello Everyone,

I changed, one of the pulley, the alternator pulley and the belt like 6 months ago as they were bad. Now I started having a line in the belt, and the only thing I can see it's happening is that the tensioner pulley is not aligned with the rest of the pulleys.

I ordered a new tensioner, the pulley coming with it is hard plastic, should I replaced with another one? or is it fine?

Also I got to replace another 230 pulley as the misalignment was eating one side more of it.  My only problem I ordered it and it arrived a metal one, all the pulleys that I have now are rubber, is it ok to be metal?

Thank you in advance!  :goodjob2:
