Hi
Recently bought an i30 2008 FD and installed one of the Chinese android head units. After the vehicle was in the garage and the battery taken out/replaced there is no longer any sound out of the speakers? Does anyone have an idea what could cause this or to check?
Does the 2008 comfort in the UK have a headphone amplifier? Is there a CANBUS? The unit came with a pre wired cable, with the speakers on the plug how the wiring for the original radio was, no canbus adapter.
Thanks

Not sure but is there a chance the unit needs to be initialised with a security code after the battery supply was interrupted?

Don’t think that’s an option, the only thing we haven’t tried yet is pulling the fuses and leaving it for a bit, is their a trick to removing the yellow fuse holder as it seems stuck?
Also the stock radio had the speaker ohms/frequencies .etc on the label so doesn’t seem like there is an amplifier, have not yet tried the stock radio to see if it’s the radio at fault though as was a pain to install.
