Hi all!
I've done a quick search, but haven't managed to find the answer so far!
Has anybody replaced a drivers door ( RH drive) lock actuator on a 2017-2024 model?
The previous model looks far easier and there are hundreds of videos on YouTube, but that's not going to help me!
I've found only a couple of YouTube videos for my model , one on how to remove the outer inner door panel, and one on how to remove the inner door panel. Both of which are very good.
However they don't go as far as to replace the door lock actuator. When I get down to it, it may be easy to work out, once I've removed that inner panel. But I just wondered if anybody has
done the actual job and has any tips?
Any help appreciated.
Cheers

Hi, Robert. I understand your reluctance but if I were in your shoes, I would factor in the time to investigate once you had removed the door card. I don't believe the models would be so different as to have you stumped.

Success, I have replaced the door lock actuator, and it now works!
You were right, Gonz, once the panels were removed, it wasn't too tricky to work out the rest.
The YouTube video was essential on how to remove the inner door panels.
Outer door handle removal was also essential. Also found a YouTube video for that.
Also the replacement used part that I got from eBay also had the associated parts and cables connected which made it easier to see what was needed to be done.
I can now happily open the drivers door from outside rather than leaning across from the passenger side, a lot less swearing!
Cheers.
