Does anyone know why there are half a dozen OEM part numbers for what appears to be the same part? I use partsouq to find the rear pads for my car 58302A6A31, but I find some suppliers say it's equivalent to 58302A6A30 or 58302A6A20. If I look on Delphi aftermarket catalogue, it comes up with the same part for all of those Hyundai parts, so I can only think they're all interchangeable. It widens my buying choice if they are. Is there a rationale to how Hyundai number their parts?

I'll reply to myself on this one, Pagid brakebook lists about 3 different types, which vary depending on whether or not car has auto stop/start, electronic hand brake. Anyhow, I managed to find the exact Hyundai parts for my car at a very good price, so problem can go on the back-burner for a while. It doesn't really explain why a company like Delphi has one part number which is allegedly equivalent to several OEM part numbers
