My car had been more difficult to start the last few days.
Tested volts in battery on saturday and showed 12.2 volts yesterday 11.5 volts so knew battery was finished.
Overnight temp fell to around 7c and this morning car wouldn't start, just a clicking noise when turning the key.
Ordered one online and picked up mid morning.
Gutted as only got 13.5 years from the battery, my first i30 got just under 16 years!!!

Blimey! You should be so lucky. I don't think I've had a car whose battery has lasted more than 5 years

Firty's original battery lasted 8 years but only because I had to put her in storage for 15 months when I was posted to Indonesia. It was fine when I deployed to Afghanistan because the wife would drive her once a week.
This second battery has lasted 9 years so far, and I have more LED than halogen or incandescent now.
