Hi
My i30 has developed the window problem that seems to be affecting the i30.
I have a 2011 Comfort 1.6 petrol estate.
Passenger front switch lowers but doesn't always raise the window. The master switch also doesn't raise the nearside windows.
I've had both switches out, apart and have
cleaned the contacts with spray cleaner. The motor is receiving voltage and the switches work fine when checking with a multitester.
I've read some posts here on the topic but there doesn't seem to be conclusive fix for the issue.
The switches work off the car but are intermittent when plugged into the window motor.
I've seen the switches available quite cheap but are probably copies. I replaced the window washer motor with a cheaper one and that's been ok.
Looks like that's what I'll need to do and hope it works.
Any help appreciated.
