Will someone please hurry over and administer MMR please as I've been laid out flat on the floor of my office for the past 30 minutes :D :D :D :D

Thats fantastic news Shambles, wonders will never cease!

:D :D :D Congratulations!
Mine arrived last Friday, but apparently the key was a blank (ie not cut), so they've had to send it back!

i30manUK,
NO NO NO, YES. Don't let him send it back. That is the way they come, BLANK. Your dealer is supposed to get it duplicated and the security info copied into it as well. I read somewhere that the key needs to be laser cut.

My dealer has asked me to leave the car there for upto 2 hours next Thursday. The key needs a laser-cut as Bob said, which accounts for the time.
I'll be waiting with it, though, as I want to see the cutting and the computer linkup.

I watched my key tongue being cut for my spare key (they said I could take it to the key place to speed things up)
Mine was just done like a normal key with a grinding machine following the contours of the original key.
The guy said these sort of keys are like four keys in one they have to cut each contour separately.. but only took about 10 minutes.
Perhaps we are ahead of the rest of the world with our technology down here... 8-)

.. and they both work too!
