Gurkha17, very nice, judging by the temperature display, you live a bit further north than me.
You should enjoy seeing the fuel econ come down from the 6.8 that it currently sits on.

Looks good m8.. 24c is pretty cool for your neck of the woods
-
Looks splendid. Now you can remove the "(future)" from your profile

What does the P signify?
Is it to do with Probationary driver once you have passed test?
If so, how do Police monitor cars without P and would it be easy to evade?
-
Yes and Yes..
In Tassie you are a provisional (P) plate driver for the first 3 years you have your license and have to display the P sign for the first 12 months (Can't exceed 80kph on open road - zero alcohol limit)
But as you say many take the risk of being sprung by not displaying "P's" so they can exceed the 80kph without being detected (Big fines and instant dismissal if caught doing that I would imagine...)
-
They need to introduce something similar in UK to stop boy racers etc
-
Unfortunately it still doesn't stop boy racers... had a shocking run lately with young guys driving fast with a high alcohol reading and no seatbelt killing themselves and others... go figure
-
yea...its a little bit different up here..dazz...its for 2 years that u have to keep u'r 'P' plates and mine is a long story...since m international student...and they don't recognise my license from NEPAL ...so i had to do the theory test and the pratical one as well....but when converting....to aussie license...the date in my nepalese license was in our own calendar...and i couldn't convert it to the english calendar at that time...so hence the P plates....damn...
yes i was caught once by the speed camera unit...
AUD100 fine...and 1 demerit point....luckily they don't look at the P plates...coz i didn't have any at that time...
