This is just a small sample from my everyday drive from work. Almost dropped my cellphone a couple of times... (video is crappy, but this doesn't count to the final score :lol: )

(maybe you can't see the potholes on the crappy video, but you can clearly hear the bumps)

i promise you all these photos are with in 10km of bulawayo city! and the top two are the city center... try counting the potholes in pic 3... there are pot holes that have pot holes in them, that have been half fixed, the sad thing there is that they just dont have the money to fix them and when they do, literally in a week they are back again...

i would have given anything for a photo of greystoke road... NOW that had to be seen to be belived... there were pot holes IN potholes... you literally couldnt go faster than walking pace...

Thanks for the pix Ian .. we have some roads that are pretty rough.. but none quite that bad that I can remember.. by the time they get patched that much they are fully resurfaced.
No offence meant but roadsides need a bit of a tidy up too :eek:

yer dazzler they wont get tidied up... its zimbabwe... the "locals" don't really have any pride in anything, and most of the whites that do care just get shot down because they are a minority... its pretty sad, but T.I.A and thats how they roll.
i want to go back again, i love africa. it mightnt be the prettiest place but its home, and most of my family is there!

ive never winged about the roads here since i went back home...
its like the roads here are made from carpet!
they do manage to keep the highways in semi decent condition! the yaris we hired seemed to like doing 150kph on them LOLZ

yep its an isuzu ballet, and it was clean as a whistle!!! as far as i could gather it was posh's fathers car... that thing is a bloody collectors item over here aye!!!

Some Cities in old Germany (West) have even more damaged Roads than them in the new Counties (East Germany).
