Title: What type of warranty you get in your country?
Post by: DJHARRY73 on December 04, 2010, 03:57:22
Hello friends , I was a little suprise to find out how different the warranty and service programs are around the world , here in the United States we get a 10 year , 100,000 mile warranty from hyundai , plus from the dealership I got a service plan where my first 6 oil changes are free and the regular maintenance at 20% discount, my previous car was a 2002 Hyundai Accent and at 70000 miles they replaced my transmision for a brand new one at no cost at all 0, zip, none  so I know it really works thats why I stayed with Hyundai cause the warranty its unbeatable . What type of deal you guys get in your countries?

One year's Roadside Assistance Programme.

For a number of months new UK i30's (MY2011) have come under triple care and get 5 years RAC now.

they also get 5 years annual healthchecks, but that's a feature more to generate revenue for the dealers than save the customer anything (yes I'm a skeptic)

Norway:

- 5 year warranty(unlimited km)
- 10 years against rust (rust from the "inside"), unlimited km.
- 3 years on the paint (unlimited km)

We also get:

- 3 years of free service :goodjob: 20-40-60000km
- 5 years of free road assistance
- 1 year free insurance ( At least I did)
- 5 years of free "health check" if you like (once a year)

If we follow up the factory rust treatment(Dinitrol), we get 15 years of rust warranty.
