Jeez guys, I did a 120 mile round trip yesterday, including over an hour tootling along in 1st & 2nd gear for an hour on the totally congested M6, travelling from Telford to Warwick. The 60 mile each way trip should easily have been done in an hour.
Trip time each way was 2 hours 15 mins, so averaging much less than 30MPH in low gears for just over an hour.
Overall MPG at the end of the trip?
43.3 MPG! And thats a 1.6 Petrol Premium!

Yep, I can get mine to there with mixed driving also, pretty good for a petrol motor :goodjob:

Realy good return but don't forget you probably didn't do much acceleration and hard braking

I avoid heavy breaking & harsh acceleration anyways, not the best way to get decent economy, anticipation and care are the way forward... a 6th gear would be appreciated for 60MPH + treks though.
