Who would've thought a little word like "adhok" could generate
17 18 replies?
-
I've always thought it meant: a makeshift solution
But that may be just my poor understanding of the phrase
-
The same goes for the word ---- u s ---- when you use it to mean something is knackered.
u s was from the word unservicable coined by the Yanks during the 2nd WW
-
Actually I'm pretty sure it's two words, as in "ad hoc". And I think it's Latin
-
But it doesn't matter now as Dazz renamed the board

I don't think for have used that in OZ? But Subaru have

In Europe Ford give the RS badge to the hottest in their range, started back with the MK1 Escort RS1600, then the MK2 RS1800 & RS2000, then the RS200, followed by the Sierra Cosworth RS500 and now the Focus RS. As can be gleaned from the few Ford cars over the years which have worn the RS badge it is based around the motorsport division, aptly called Rallye Sport.
The Subarus use that badge in Asia and Asian Pacific regions, in the UK they are denoted R, RX & WRX.

I think we had both Brian. I've certainly seen both but they may have been dedicated race or rally machines and not readily available road ones. I can't remember. :scared:
