Title: Hyundai offers a deal to customers waiting for its ix35 - UK
Post by: eye30 on March 25, 2011, 16:37:07
THERE’S a long waiting list for the new 2.0-litre diesel Hyundai ix35 so Hyundai has decided to offer the 200 customers on the list a 1.7-litre model to tide them over until the new car arrives.

When they swap they will have to pay the difference between the 1.7-litre car and the new 2.0-litre car. It’s still quite a good deal, though we’re not told just how long the wait is likely to be.

The 1.7 is indeed Diesel. It is just a slightly higher capacity U2 engine, as fitted to i30

The ix35 seems really popular over here (for a fairly new model there are heaps on the road)

The Diesels don't seem to have a CRDi badge but I've seen a good mix of all three spec levels.. :goodjob:
