I bought mine from Korea and they are genuine ones.

Just check back through my posts to find pics :P

Here's one discussion (with a closeup of my rear):

We have got genuine ones on Trish's CW too RRP A$55 per pair (Got them down to A$40 pair) cheaper than ebay after freight for the CW ones (The Hatch ones are cheaper on ebay though - think they are only different on the back) I know you are in the UK though so what we paid isn't entirely relevant..

If you cant find a good photo .. I'll take some for you soon (might stop me getting arrested)

I think sometimes mudflaps can spoil the look of a car but the i30 ones are very neat and quite discreet (and seem to do what they are designed to do)  :goodjob:

I fitted them on Trish's car and even with a Z shaped screwdriver and turning the front wheels out of the way they were fiddly and awkward to do (be a breeze with the wheels off but I was too lazy to do that)

Worth doing all four I reckon  :winker:

Mine were fitted 2 weeks after I took delivery of the car.

In the 2 weeks the spray was noticable but once the mud flaps fitted the spray was less.

I don't really fancy the ones that have the Hyundai logo on them (second link). It is rather funny the eBay seller name is bs-parts

Haha. I've been meaning to for about three weeks. Might actually go do it after all the shops re-open following this chocolatey madness.

Anyone know what difference, if any,   there is between mudflaps for pre 2011 models and the later 2011 hatchbacks?

I would be extremely surprised if there is any difference. 99% confident they are the same even in your country :goodjob:

When I bought my 2010/11 i30 Premium model there were no mudflaps available that would fit. It was because the car had a body styling kit that reshaped the sills. Even now  the UK Hyundai options list for the previous i30 states that the mudflaps will not fit the Premium model or the UK i30 Edition

You think I could quote that 'better' figure to my closest dealer as having received as a quote from a different dealership, so as not to have to drive further?

Without searching the forum or my filing cabinet at this late hour I think it was about $70? (but that was for the wife's CW now I think of it.. )

The Hatch ones which are slightly different are usually cheaper on Ebay??

I'll pitch 70 bucks to them and see what happens. Of course, I will report if I get away with it.

You could be generic about it and say that others you know have picked them up for that, without having to nominate a specific dealer.
Good luck.

No dice I'm afraid: $91. Wasn't really bothered, just interested to find out. Didn't have the patience to buy online.

These should do the job.. I think it would only be he new model (2012) or ones with a bodykit that might be a problem ... :goodjob:

All the Hyundai material states "will not fit the Edition or 2011 model" hence my query. So  are the sill mouldings different for the pre-2011 build  and the Edition/2011  versions and, presumably, the Edition has 2011 sills?
If so as your car is a  2010 Premium why won't the advertised mudflaps fit your car?

That's probably why they say "won't fit 2011" model but our (Australian Delivery) i30's are pretty much identical to the earlier versions and only the SR gets the body kit...

But surely Baradeur's question will be about a UK car?
I reckon that i30's Czech built after about April 2010 (& referred to as 2011 spec) in UK grew a sort of body kit including sill extensions and different bumpers & grill.  All a bit similar to the Edition model but not the same.  So different mudflaps are needed.
The mudflaps for the "2011" model were unavailable for ages - but I did get some (genuine Hyundai ones) for mine - part Nos:
2r460ade10 & 2r460ade20, about £50 in total.
As I recall they were really easy to fit - all the holes are there already - maybe needs a couple of wheels removed to get at them.

Good point, I got confused about who was asking (was thinking an Aussie member)  :-[

The UK cars did change considerably around that time  :goodjob:

I think you have got it exactly right.  I haven't  been able to find an "Edition" model yet but the "2011" model (mine is Czech April 2011 build date) has full length sill mouldings which prevent the original mud flaps from fitting - certainly at the front - but the rear quarter panel seems to be the same on all models so perhaps the rear flaps do fit all cars!
Thanks for the part numbers I will check with my dealer.
