Hi folks, it's been a while but my wait is finally over....
Got the car late Thurs, got paint protection done Friday morning, still got few things to add on but I manage to squeeze few quick pics for you all...
Some parameters...
- built date : Jan 11
- compliance date : April 11
Accessories/add-ons so far...
- paint protection : ToughSeal
- dash mat : original, got it from ebay
- mud flaps : not shown as I just fixed it today (took me a while, long story this one... but it's all done!)
Things to add next...
- tinting - will do this when tint prof open for biz after Easter..
Sorry the pics are a bit dark, took it almost dinner time...
-
Hi Hornbill..Congratulations, it's all good :goodjob: (except 1 small thing I'll mention in a moment :winker:)
Like I suspected the Hyper Silver looks fabulous with the titanium wheel finish and the paint protection sure give a great shine..
Now for that 1 thing... If you get a chance can you re host those pix via photobucket or imageshack as per instructions by Bumpkin in the Welcome Thread (when you get a chance) Mainly so they don't get lost .. :hatoff:
-
but it was worth the wait wasn't it? :yahoo::mrgreen:
-
Congrats and many k's of carefree motoring

Thanks guys. Yes, it was worth the wait. I'll check out the photobucket option..maybe grab better pics outdoor when tinting is done.
-
I like it!! :goodjob:
I do like the Titanium Wheels with the Silver (but then I am biased). You will find that the tinting really makes it look fantastic!! I will get around to taking some photos of mine one day.

Yep Fatboy, I look forward to see how it looks after tinting. Darkest legal would be my pick, if the match is good...

Hi guys,
I took few more shots of the new baby, before and after tinting at 2 different places, did some of that photobucket steps above (but I didn't follow it to a tee though, sorry), but hopefully it worked (seem to work when I tested it).
I'm not a proffessional photographer so, apology if the angles are not quite photogenic..
1st 6 pics are taken at one of the Yarra Valley winery over the Easter weekend (w/o tinting ON), and remaining pics are taken in the city after Easter (w/ tinting ON).
Hope you can see them clearly...and like it.. :) Noticed the mud flaps in there?? I put them on myself!
So, without further a do...here they are:-

Very Nice :goodjob: (bet it looks even better with the tint)
EDIT: Sorry .. miss read your post ... The tint is not real dark
-
Looks fab.... enjoy

Thanks.
Dazz, you're right. Was originally considering the Octane film (35% dark) but when I went onsite and learn a it more abt the F1 film, it's SPF 50+ protection, it's thickness etc, I decided to go for it - although I have to pay extra.
Main reason being, we're expecting a baby soon so health is more important to me than the looks. :) Especially when the baby skin is so delicate...
The F1 film is 40% dark according to the guy, so it's only marginally lighter than the Octane when I look at the samples side-by-side.
Hope I made the right voice with this one. Anyone else here has the F1 film on their car?

What is the maximum you are allowed?

What is the maximum you are allowed?
We don't have a maximum on the number of babies you can have in Australia :P
-
So glad we're not in China. Else, if you bought an i30 there, you're not allowed to have another baby...
-
^^
I wish you'll be happy with your babies :D
