anyway...
seems REPCO (wait for the acronyms to start) have a part number on their system for an i30 diesel oil filter BUT its not in stock yet :(
so its good news for us that service their own cars!!! no more paying $30 for a filter hopefully...
-
is it a repco filter, or a ryco filter Ian?
-
repco from my understanding...
-
The last filters that I bought from Hyspares were $16.50 each tax inclusive. They were genuine filters. I bought 12 of them.
-
wow... thats cheap!!!
i take it you plan on keeping the car for 90,000km?
-
Yeah...all things going well, this baby is here to stay...

Hope you ended up with the correct filters, Paolo5..... :undecided:
There are 2 different filters for the i30 diesel, the one for mine, (MY2010) is the 100mm $19.50 one. The cheaper 110mm $16.75 filter is for the earlier models....(not sure of the exact changeover date, but sometime during 2009, I think).

the length of an oil filter can alter your oil pressure.
-
heh!!! i didnt know that! i used to run the patrol one on my R31 when it was NA 3L because it was bigger and i figured it would filter better!
