Title: GOOD news with the diesel oil filters!
Post by: agentr31 on April 27, 2011, 09:56:49
anyway...

seems REPCO (wait for the acronyms to start) have a part number on their system for an i30 diesel oil filter BUT its not in stock yet :(

so its good news for us that service their own cars!!! no more paying $30 for a filter hopefully...

The last filters that I bought from Hyspares were $16.50 each tax inclusive. They were genuine filters. I bought 12 of them.

Hope you ended up with the correct filters, Paolo5..... :undecided:

There are 2 different filters for the i30 diesel, the one for mine, (MY2010) is the 100mm $19.50 one. The cheaper 110mm $16.75 filter is for the earlier models....(not sure of the exact changeover date, but sometime during 2009, I think).

Like I've said elesewhere on here Ian you can also save with the Identical Kia Soul Diesel Air Filter (cheaper by over $10) and the Diesel Fuel Filter (I saved nearly $30) again, same part numbers... :goodjob:
