I have taken a couple of basic photos and hopefully have worked my way around Photobucket.

Alloys and skirts are standard on SR model in Australia. Lucky us!!
Other goodies are alloy pedals, upgraded stereo (not documented but there has been mention of upgraded speakers and an amp behind the trim at the rear) and of course the rear spoiler.

Very nice SandRs  :goodjob: The SR looks stylish in any colour (They would sell even more of them if they also offered it in Diesel)  Thanks for the Pix, will look even better with the tint.. :winker:

Hi Richard are you pleased with the SR so far?

We have had it 3 days and only done about 60 Ks! I'm not sure if we will get banned from the site for this!
I have a small van (Renault Kangoo) that I drive during the week and my wife has done a few short trips. We may take it out today but the weather is lousy this morning.
Got the tint done yesterday so will update pics soon.
Very pleased so far. My brother in law has a Mazda 3 Maxx Sport and I think the SR is very similar. While waiting the 4 months for delivery my wife was wondering if we should have spent more on something like a Mazda or Honda but I think after her initial drives she is very pleased. She did comment however that the sunvisor blocks her vision too much. She is about 176 cm (5' 9" or so) tall and I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this?

That is interesting about the sun visor (I am 5'9" - not real tall for a bloke  :-[) and haven't noticed that, we have members like Trev (surferdude) 6'2" and Simon 6'4'+ who haven't mentioned this either

Don't think my wife (TrishCW) has the problem - she is only 5' tall  :D

I'm about 6ft and I don't have any trouble either....
It's just a matter of swinging it part way down. If I were to swing it fully down I'd then probably have a bit of trouble seeing.  :undecided:

there is a handle on the side of the seat that makes the seat go up and down.

That might be relevant, thanks. I have dropped the seat down for her next drive.

Trouble seeing because of the sun or the sunvisor itself?

I'm 6'1" and if i swing them all the way 'till they meet the windshield, then it's useless; i'm having a problem seeing because of the sun :undecided:

pump the handle on the side of the drivers seat up and down.  it should give you an extra few inches.  ;)

^ You have to be persistent in order to work
Just pump the handle no more than necessary otherwise it can cause vision problems...

I think the sunvisor issue is sorted for us. Lowering the seat helped and I don't think Sal was pushing the visor far enough forward.
Loving the new car but we haven't driven it much yet.
We often drive down to Dunsborough (about 250 KMs of mostly good road) so am looking forward to our first time in the i30. We recently went there in a commodore SV6 hire car and the comfort level compared to our Kia Rio was amazing. I am confident the i30 will match the Commodore in everything except size and power, but then who needs all that power and it was a tight squeeze in the garage!

:goodjob: i30 has a pretty good ride quality on an open road.
Not to mention the squeezing out that a SV6 causes in someone's pocket
