Title: Genuine CW spoiler - Aussie dealer
Post by: Ugly Mongrel on June 03, 2011, 09:16:25
I brought one of these off eBay for $145 +$22 delivery (2 days). As my CW paint code is RBC (Continental White) and the spoiler paint code is 7F (Crystal White), I decided not to pay to have it painted. You cannot notice the difference in the two colors when fitted. Easy peasy to fit too..

Thoroughly recommend this seller as they were a pleasure to do business with and very good helpful.

I don't think you'll have any trouble Dazzler. They were very good to deal with.

I'm sure it'll make a nice wedding anniversary present for Trish

Darren mentioned he also has an SR body kit currently painted in Steel Grey (excludes rear spoiler) and another front and rear skirt too I think .. not sure of the colour .. Probably not going to put them on EBay but if anyone is interested I can send him a message  :D

Hey jabber, No problems with alignment at all, but when we fitted it, we didn't use the supplied template. When the template arrived in the packaging, it  was very tightly wound and it was very difficult to try and straighten it. We tossed it away and simply held the spoiler against the vehicle, lined it up and marked the drill points with a felt pen. SOooo much easier than the template.

As far as drilling the holes goes, no problem there either. The kit comes with a small tube of primer paint to touch up the bare metal where you have drilled. We also filled the cavity with some silicone before fitting the finishing caps over the screw cavity.

All up the installation took about 15 minutes and it looks great when installed.

Any chance of a photo sometime soon UM ... :D

another tip is to put a bit of masking tape on the body before you drill so the drill bit doesnt "wander" ....
