Yes, I think I'd be happy with one of these in the garage.
The one I've got now gets a lot of use but with this model, I don't think I'd ever be out of it.

There are two models in the photo - pleae clarify.....................

   Let me tell you, if it was the one on the right it certainly wouldn't be kept in the garage
And peaking from experience, the one with the least service costs would most definitely be the i30  :)

:whsaid: those lightweight version models (the girl btw) are the most expensive in the range. No expense spared, and no expenses left afterwards.

You also dont get a 5 year warranty if something goes wrong with the other model. If it goes wrong. IT WILL BE YOUR FAULT, not the manufacturers

One bonus is that they need servicing more often than every 12 months...... :goodjob:

The main problem I find is that they tend to suffer from an irritating rattle at the slightest bump in life's road. :fum:

Blonde hair and long legs can suck you in and cost you a lot of money and heartache (I can say from personal experience they are best avoided)  :whistler:

Ah, Copenhagen.

To bring this thread back on topic  I went back to J.H. today and asked, if I am happy to wait, rather than get an i40, would they trade & do the deal now & I'd wait for the new i30 to arrive.
Initially he said probably not, but then said yes, but there was a guy from Hyundai (company) there at the time and he said that although pricing & spec hasn't been announced, he expects the base model to sell somewhere between $27990 and $29990.

If that is true, that is one hell of a big jump in price.

Bump  :D

I did some car shopping on Carsales.com this morning and there are only 2 x manual i40 Diesels available in the whole of Australia (well on there anyway) no wonder I am struggling to get a test drive of one  :disapp:

I note that the overall ADR fuel rating for the 6 speed Auto Diesel is only 5.6 LPH (still impressive) and not much difference in listed price between Manual and Auto (due to availability I assume)

The worst part of them being so scarce is that it make getting a good deal when the time comes that much harder  :undecided:

Maybe, but one dealership I went to was happy to negotiate on an i40 wagon and said that I'd have to wait for one to be ordered as there were none available.

With the demise of the CW :disapp: I too will be looking to the i40 in 2015 when my lease expires. Unless I go cheap and get the accent diesel.

Lucky for me, I'm lazy and like a slush box, and looking at carsales there are plenty on there  :goodjob:
