I thought I'd weigh in on this one as the last post on the subject seemed to go nowhere, or else I didn't manage to view it.
I have an elite auto on order and seem to be waiting forever for it to arrive from Korea.
As I research various details I find that Hyundai are listing the elite under GD whereas other models are listed as GD2.
Clearly this is not correct and our new vehicle will no doubt be GD2.
The obvious badge difference on the hatch is not reason for a model differentiation and there seems to be a hint via Elantra of a suspension touch up.
I've called Customer Care ( an oxymoron) but they haven't phoned back as they promised !
Additionally Carsales.com.au lists active and Trophy as GD2 but lists Elite as GD.
I think we are entitled to an explanation and was hoping that some of you may have pierced the smokescreen.
