So at my last service I mentioned that the clock was gaining time - at drop off, the rep said they'd look and they'd likely just replace under warranty.  Sure enough, nothing they could do and a few weeks later I was back and had a new unit installed (this unit was set to showing the outside temp!).

Now, this unit is also gaining time!    

Note that this is an analogue radio, so there's no time checking to digital radio available.

Anyone else suffering this?

No, but that would be handy when you put your car in for service because it would be ready before it was finished.

How much gain are we talking about here.

Mine gains a couple of minutes over 2 or 3 months. I just re-adjust it occasionally.

I was fairly sure when I set the clocks in Bruce and Cyril last I set them right,they are both now about 15 mins fast,but thats after eight or nine months(if not longer),when it gets to twenty mins I re adjust them,I don't mind my clocks being a little fast,I like to be on time if not a bit early when I'm going somewhere

Well, the clocks operate on a crystal oscillator. Surely they can use better crystals in their clocks. 

My wristwatch is less than 10 seconds out p.a.

Yeah, mine will be out by a couple of minutes over a number of weeks. Below par in this day and age but not enough for me to have the dash messed with.
