Sales of Hyundai’s i30 small car jumped 67.4 per cent in November, helping the Korean company into third place on the sales charts.

I still don't see a lot of the GD i30's on the road, well not as many as one would expect, still heaps of FD i30's about though.

But certainly Hyundai is going very well in OZ, a lot of Hyundai iLoad Vans on the road, the white van men like those.

Beware of the 'White Van Man.' I heard that said a few times in my visits to Mother England.

Must be selling them all up in SE Qld, Lester.
Heaps up here - and around Darwin for that matter, when I was there recently.

You could be right mate, perhaps the NSW people have got too much dough..they like the SUV's here.  Tell you what though, zillions of Mazda 3's on the road around here.

I looked at the i40 before buying my new i30 Tourer, and I thought the Tourer made a much better case for my $$.

Adequate power in the i30 tourer?   Is it a 1.6 diesel ?  :-[

Yes, 1.6 diesel manual.

The Tourer isn't a race car, but once on the move power is more than adequate.

Also a 1.6 GDI petrol Lester .. Drives quite well for a 1.6 petrol apparently (and not bad on fuel)

Gee, go west, young man.
They're everywhere over here.
I sometimes have to check the number plate in car parks when I go shopping because I have a choice of eight white Active GD i30s to get into.
