Dear i30 owners,
I have a 2009 i30 CW crdi. My dealer says I need a new front, drivers side door lock actuator.
When I press the remote to lock the car, it locks fine. But then you get a buzzing noise for a second from the front drivers side door.
Apart from the noise it all works as it should.
And the noise only occurs when locking the car with the remote.
If you are inside and use the locking button on the door controls it locks up fine, no noise?
It is a 2009 i30 CW crdi model.
If I do need an actuator, the dealer RRP is $350 for the part. Don't know what fitting would cost.
Any help, advice would be greatly appreciated.
regards
kev

Yeah you need an actuator.
The noise is the deadlock skipping teeth. Deadlock only activates with remote so thats why it doesn't happen with the button inside.

Hi Kev,

A quick Ebay search bought up this Elantra one from Korea (assume they would be the same @cruiserfied )

:link: Genuine Door Lock Actuator Latch Front RH 81320 2D000 for Hyundai Elantra | eBay

There are instructions online including You tube to fit them yourself.

 :Pout:

Hopefully we can find a cheap one on the net for him somewhere. I only had a quick look, a lot of Hyundai ones on Ebay.

Hi, Thanks everyone.
yep, I assumed something like that. It sounds as if gears are being skipped over.
So, not wanting to pay $350 plus fitting, if anyone can supply a link to the part that I need, it would be very much appreciated.
i have had a look around and left a note on an online hyundai parts site but they haven't got back to me.
Seems there are Left side american, rear ones, but not many right side front Australian ones?
kind regards
Kev

Hi
Is a door regulator the same as the door lock actuator?
For the door regulator the part number is different
My dealer says the part number is 813202L060.
The VIN is There is hidden content here which only members can see. Please Login or Register.I have emailed the other 2 suppliers and will see what they say
They show a front door the same as mine so it should have the correct actuator in it somewhere.
Thanks
Kev

If you google just that part number a lot of links come up. Some may answer your question (although several aren't in English)
