Unlike Google Maps and Street View, Google Earth provides a satellite’s view of the world from above – and best of all, it’s free.

But not everywhere can be seen on Google Earth. Some top secret and high-risk locations have been blurred or removed for security reasons. Here we reveal some of them…

Google Earth photographers actually attended my photography courses.
I'm pleased to see how well they are doing.  :)

Most certainly is...  tilting view with topology mapping on....

It is obviously a secret radio telescope/satellite built into the side of a mountain; or the opening of a secret space port deep buried inside the earth!!!   You think those blizzards are natural?!?! You silly un-Illuminated mortal!

In other news - I appear to have ordered too much tin-foil

I am guessing that that face was just the right angle that an image didn't get captured of it, or for whatever reason the image to map location function couldn't determine the appropriate image, etc. (maybe because there wasn't one for whatever reason)

Facing West....

Facing South
