My much loved i30 is due for her second service, when I purchase my vehicle it was capped price servicing of $219 and my dealer also reduces the amount of about $40 as I supply my own oil, all good.
What I think is a little sly on Hyundai is the conflicting of the Service schedules.
I was having a look at the schedule for the 30000km/ 24mths in the handbook and compare that of what is publish on line.
Get a Service Quote - Hyundai Australiaas you can see for yourself the handbook requires the climate control filter to be replaced, however the on line schedule and I' m sure the one the dealers will work of is only inspection of filter. I'm also sure that at time of inspection it wil require replacement and be slug some silly amount.( I will get one from supercheap and fit it myself for a fraction of the price).
However the point is if its in the handbook should it in fact be included in the service cost?
