anyone had one fitted after they bought their car, and how much the dealer charged.
I see there is an after market one available on ebay :http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260551251289&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:AU:1123
But the missus is a bit wary on me fitting and drilling holes  to a brand new car( although I fitted heaps on all our other cars)- Still her point of view must be considered.

Very Wise ...

I have a feeling the going rate for a factory fitted spoiler is around A$400 (Down her in Tassie an aftermarket one would work out about the same -fitted)

Wow , tried to get prices on spoilers here in Adelaide and they are all over $400 and the fitted price is $500. I know you can get them from Vic for $370( shipping costs will be horrendous) so its hard to believe that it is $130 for fitting. What is with the Hyundai site they say $321.88( excluding fitting,GST included)- I can't find one dealer who will sell it for that price. Why advertise RRP them then not be able to get it. Sorry rant over.
The missus will not let me fit it, so it looks like $500 or no spoiler.

Just an update, my dealer I purchased from will sell me one for $360 , not bad I suppose. Now how do I convince the little woman that I can do it. We had 4WD for years and I did nearly everything( including change engines and gearboxes) but get a new car and it is hands off.

Finally convinced her on threat that my manly bits would be removed painfully if i stuff up
Also as far as the site goes I found that in the small print at the bottom of the accessory page it states"Accessories pictured are all sold separately at Additional Cost" Funny how I never noticed that before.

I thinks thats just to cover themselves for fitting accessories that need extra wiring etc. The factory spoiler kits (if it is factory) come with everything you need.

Thanks , yes it will be  a Factory supplied spolier.
Just a another quick question , what product should I use to clean the paint of contaminants ie silicone type polishes etc so that the double sided tape will stick properly-I have Isopropyl Alcohol which I assume would work.

I presume it has thescrews as well, otherwise it's not a factory spoiler.

One of the best guides to prep and cleaning is here:

http://multimedia.3m.com/mws/mediawebserver?66666UuZjcFSLXTtnxf6l8z6EVuQEcuZgVs6EVs6E666666--

The notes about applying pressure afterwards are important too, often overlooked - of course more tricky when fitting a spoiler. Temperature is important too.

Well job done and complete and all the manly bits are still attached.
Must say Hyundai supply everything you need, it took about 40 mins , but then I checked over and over before I drilled.
Looks good, they should come with them as standard.

LOL
I must thank everyone for all the advice I got, and especially "Thumper" for his article on fitting one. He also gave my missus the idea to remove the badges on the back -so it has been a long day.Actually when I said it took 40 mins , that was only the fitting time it took another hour or so to get the tools out and to clean up after so it was probably 2 1/2 hours from beginning to cleaned up and finished.
I must say it looks real clean with all the jumble of the badges off.
Now lets hope she doesn't do a backflip and want them back on- no lets not even go there
