Hyundai i30 6 gear manual petrol

Posting on behalf of my partner.

Based in the UK. I have a 2013 Hyundai i30 6 gear manual petrol.

So I have a bit of an anomaly.

I have had this car for a year, it has had many fixes and repairs.

However in the last 4 months the car has had to have the clutch replaced 3 times!
It has been to several mechanics.

The problem is that oil is leaking into clutch, engine bungs and seals have been replaced and checked they are all sound.

Today 31/10/24 the vehicle has been back to the mechanic. The new clutch less than 4 weeks old is again soaked with oil. They have taken it to 2 transmission specialist who has looked at the whole system. The gear box was filled with a foul smelling oil
But the whole car was checked for leaks everything looks sound.

The mechanics and transmission specialists are saying they have never seen anything like this. Ones exact words were " if I didn't know better i would say somebody has put it in deliberately"
The mechanic basically said get rid, because there are no guarantees .

The only option left is to get the gear box stripped and seals done..which is the best part of a grand. I've already put the best part of 4k in and can't do it anymore.  And again no guarantees.

Has anybody come across this situation before or anything like this...any suggestions at all would be gratefully received...
