Can any of you confirm what this pale yellow plastic component is?, Looks to me like a tap? In the photo you can see extensive area of surface rust. Might something leak from this component?
This photo was taken from the bottom of the engine bay, facing forward, looking at the very bottom left of the condenser.

If on radiator then it is the drain plug to change antifreeze
