Haven't been here for a while, but our i30 from 2011 is still going strong in 2026.
Nearly at 300k, had DPF cleaned once (not replaced), turbo refurbished (probably wasn't really needed) and had glow plugs replaced (once or twice, don't remember). The biggest issue is rust around around the window on the trunk door. Thought of tuning it, but never actually did it (apart from testing the some kind of tuning box installed by the dealer that didn't work well and prevented the engine from starting on second day).
Have experimented with custom Android-based radio unit (one from Sony, one Chinese), but went back to the original for reliability, radio reception.

Frugal Firty (2009) is still our daily drive - still loving the Diesel, makes all the other auto petrols I drive dead boring.

Is 2011 really that old? I still daily-drive my 2009 1.6 CRDi with 280k km on the clock.
We bought PDe 1.5 T-GDi auto for my wife but I still prefer the old one. It even feels like it's better quality.
The only real issues were loud whistling turbo (got it replaced), random limp mode (replaced aftermarket fuel filter for a genuine Hyundai one) and RPM fluctuations on cold starts when the temperature was above 15°C (fixed by software update).
The exhaust fumes started to smell bad (no idea why, yet) but otherwise it runs like new and I haven't noticed any rust.

Mine 1.6 CRDI remapped from 115hp to 160hp have 350k and still growing. Bought it when had 274k 2 years ago, i replace timing chain right away, about 300k turbo rotor said hello to dpf when i shift 1st-2nd with burnout. Not long after clutch said goodbay too  it was in bad condition at beginning (1st and reverse grinding, upshifts/downshift with rev matching ) meanwhile i replaced complete suspension front rear. Next to do i need replace glowplugs and starter (really bad cold starts) Starter have more mileage than car  and maybe transmission cuz of noise like viscose in volkswagen LT, oil in trans changed too and old wasn't bad. It is very reliable, all things that broke was original from factory, and cheap in maintenance + have great handling
