Hello to you all!!

I am new to these forums and wanted to say HELLO :))

My name is Bryan and I bought a new 2011 (made in april) i30 CRDi manual. I love it!!! Is there anything i need to do or not do with it whilst it is new? 

I really love this car!! My other car (Nissan xTrail) was smashed into by some fool and was written off :(  So i had a 1.6L i30 as a hire car and fell in love with it! ":)))

Hi Bryan

You made a great choice getting the CRDi (manual) .. Pick of the litter in my opinion...(did you get 6 or 5 speed)

Just be real careful you don't put unleaded in by mistake (and don't start it up if you do in error)

What colour did you choose? .. I assume it is a Hatch (as you didn't mention CW)

Just don't let it labour in the gears or thrash it with the revs while new (although the 6 speed apparently pulls from down low and no need to rev a CRDi much past 300o RPM even when in a hurry)  :mrgreen:

Oh, and be a bit gentle with the brakes for the first few hundred KMs until they bed in...

Its the Hatch 6 speed manual. :) LOVE IT!! It is VIVID Blue.

I dont push it TOO hard :P Just 2000-3500 at times...hehe mostly up to 3000 grand. It pulls like nothing ive ever felt before!! really amazing!!! I have been reading these forums about the types of diesel fuels out there. I might put premium in it. I've ALWAYS put 98 octain unleaded into my xtrail and rav4 in the past. Such a difference between a SUV and a small family car! this car is fun though!! I pull away from everyone on teh road!! hhahah! CRazy!!  I will try to not put the brakes on TOO hard... the car has done 300+km in a few days :P I just love driving it! and its only used JUST over 1/4 of a tank.....

LOVE IT!!!

filled up for the frist time! 6.2L/100 on the first tank! :) mostly city driving but some highway also! yay! 700km on the clock!
