Mine are factory fitted BTW.The current i30 SLX has a rotating spring loaded bezel on the headlight/indicator stalk which you turn against a spring and it flicks back to turn the foggies on.Not sure why you think that my comment has suggested that something's been changed.

Has anyone tried these Philips Extreme +100% bulbs in their i30?
Just don't make the mistake I did... if you live in USA the low beams are H11b , not H7 >.<
I suggested using HID bulbs for hi beam only. Does anyone know or have experience in how long they take to reach full intensity. If it's too long then they wouldn't be suitable for hi beam.

Maybe the company's logic, is that CW buyers might travel with a light load occasionally, which is why the owners didn't buy the hatch.
