Was at the Launceston Hyundai Dealer talking to a very pleasant Sales Lady called Keryn and a equally helpful chap called Tristan today. Was looking to check out the new 2013/14 2.0 Litre 5 door i30 SR but none in stock yet.

They were excited to show me the new Special Edition Veloster "Street" though..

Here are some photos I took with my phone...

I saw one of these at the dealership the other day. I quite like the red leather.
On that link you provided, I think the car looks a lot better from the angle they have taken that first photo from - front quarter from above.
The Veloster shape doesn't grab me.

Yes, not what you would call a pretty car ..

In an ideal world I would have one of these (I spotted in Launceston today)

But, not as economical as a Veloster (or as practical) and around twice the price!

Nice Nissan.
I quite like the Toyota 86.
They're good value and are everywhere over here.

Yes, but think they will be a bit thirsty and not a lot of goodies compared to the Veloster..

I had a look at one when we bought the Hybrid and thought they were a bit bare bones for the price ..

I like a bit more luxury these days

I'm about to hit the sack but will be interested to hear your feedback on the SR and the SE (in the morning)

Not a Veloster fan at all & the Nissan is too low to get into. Act your age Dazz, Turbo Diesel, Jag.  :goodjob2: :snigger:

Nice, but a few problems with that .. Wouldn't have a black car, 5 + years old and 7.5 LPH economy..

Now a 2 year old light Blue or Burgundy 2.2 litre TDi might be a different matter  :happydance:

P.S. Neither Trish or I would get a Veloster (because she doesn't like them) I would consider a Turbo Version if I was allowed  :whistler:
