Tee hee, I quite like spiders, we get these Huntsman spiders on my parents' farm, one of them has yet to bite me (touch wood...)

But if I don't know what spider it is I will stay well away. The same with snakes

Looks exactly like the Huntsmans we get here, my brother killed one in my house years ago "what a mess it made on the curtains " the body was much larger on the one he killed here though, was probably a female.

My mum once sucked one up into a vacuum cleaner, but she didn't stop to think that she had to empty it out afterwards

I really feel sorry for spiders, they get so much flak, but then again 8 legs is pretty terrifying. Thank goodness they don't fly

We get them here often after the rain, but they keep the mosquito's away so I am cool with them

Centipedes on the other hand... :'(

Simply don't like them, although if there's a huntsman in the house, I trap it in a jar and release it well away outside. I don't like to kill anything, anymore.

Same here, although the Red Backs - Centipedes and Scorpions I'll kill as they bite the dogs and the friends kids.

Red backs can kill, if you're allergic to the venom. :fum:
