Another i30 3 door - Im going to have to sell mine - they are just becoming a dime a dozen! lol - Congrats on the purchase Steve. Looking forward to seeing what you do to her and hopefully us 3 doorers can swap tips etc... Don't forget that if you are looking for dress up bits the US version of the i30 is known as the Elantra GT (they don't get our model though) and there are plenty of bits from Korea and the UK. Engine wise - we share the same powerplant as the Accent and non turbo veloster so there is another avenue for upgrades. Good luck and keep motoring!

Took some pics this arvo but the site says they are too big to upload... Not sure why? Maybe I'll try taking some with a camera rather than my iPhone...

Managed to upload one for my avatar though :goodjob:

I find Imgur :link: Imgur the easiest and best to use, they don't remove your photos after a short time like Photobucket and no need to register either.

Just use the upload images tab at the top, then start and when completed you'll be given a forum link code on the right which you just copy/paste.

On a different note, I had a rather frustrating and rediculous experience today.

I was on my way to work and realized I needed fuel so I pulled into the petrol station and went to pull the lever to open the petrol tank door thing and could not for the life of me find it. Spent about 5 mins searching and then just drove away.

Had enough fuel to get me to work and then back home which is where I'd left the manual for the car.... Funny thing was, I actually did try just pushing on the door to see if it was one of those popout ones. I guess I must've been pushing in the wrong spot..!!

Anyway, now that I know how to get to the fuel tank, I'm going to go fill up. Hopefully I have enough fuel to the petrol station :0

@Craig - thanks for the Imgur link. I'm going to try it because I've never like Botophucket.
I find it very user-unfriendly.

I've been using Photobucket for years and have never had photos removed.  :undecided:
Gotta agree with Doggie about it not being particularly user friendly though...

They've removed several of mine because they don't seem to like skin colour.   :undecided:

If you look at some of the old photos here on this and other forums you'll see that the photo has a message inside it saying " image not available " never had that happen with imgur yet.

I think you'll find that's more likely due to photos being attached directly,  not through a third party host.
Attachments can be lost if the service providers site goes down.

It might have been some video links I was confusing it with  Imgur is still a simpler process to use anyway without requiring registration, some good editing tools there as well :goodjob2:

Very nice :goodjob2: did you get the mirrors and rear spoiler wrapped? " note " if you use the forum BB code links the pictures would display directly here on the forum.

Nah, it was already wrapped when I got it. What do they call that stuff? It's like carbon fibre imitation wrap... I wonder how long it will last before it needs replacing..? One of the mirrors is already starting to peel off the tiniest bit.

Ps- wouldnt know how to write the codes dude, I imagine it'd be pretty complicated....

Edit* just had a look and the pics are now on the forum instead of the links.... One of the mods must've done it. Cheers to whoever it was  :victory:

The wrapping should just peel off easy enough, the shops that do it say it can be removed anytime.

You don't have to write code, the same place where you copied the links from that you pasted above...if you look down the link titles there will be one that says for forums, you just copy paste that code instead of the one you used :)
