Dashcam footage has captured the moment a 96-year-old man lost control of his vehicle and 'flew' over the top of a parked car.

The World War Two veteran was visiting his wife in hospital in Melbourne, Australia.

He suffered leg injuries and a fractured spine after the accident.

Yep, if I get to 96 and still driving I'd like to make the news too.

I reckon he was a pilot in WW2. Hope he recovers ok. He must be a tough bloke, on the news his son said he phoned his dad at the hospital and asked how he was, to
 which he replied " i'm fine "
