Yup, I had one of those little things very briefly in my student days.  The only fault it had was if ya went a steep hill the fuel didn't get to the engine and it cut out halfway up

GEES!  If there was one sold every 10 minutes, where the hell are any of them now?

Can honestly say that I have never seen one anywhere...and that includes car museums.

I'm not sure whether it was an Isetta - or a similar vehicle - but my uncle got trapped in one. The door to the car was at the front - not the side. He drove too far into the garage and could not open the door to get out.

He couldn't, it had no reverse gear.
