It was a warm sunny day yesterday and Libby decided she would like to go to Evesham Country Park (Now renamed 'The Valley') to browse the garden centre and the shops that now surround it. I don't like visiting those garden centres that have become gift, food, hobbies and ladies clothing outlets. For me a garden centre should concentrate on garden stuff and not such peripherals. However, the ladies love them and who am I to disagree. So we went.
There are three proper cafes in the complex but for some years there has also been a mobile cafe adjacent to the car park which formerly was a large van with a hatch in the side serving snacks, evil smelling greaseburgers, pulled pork baps and drinks etc. I was fascinated to see that they have gone up in the World. It's no longer a van but now a 10 year old double decker bus using the upper floor as a seating area. What a novel idea!
