Been stuck in many a "suicide leap" traffic jam (2 last year near Blackpool).

Amazing the number of motorists who get out of their vehicles, up as close to the jumper as they can, shouting JUMP!!

Here's one from 3 years ago, when I had my MG/ZR. IIRC we waited around 5 hours



And this was at the head of the queue to shout JUMP!

Thursday evening's traffic chaos started after police closed off both sections of the M60 when a man threatened to jump off a bridge.

The drama came to an end when the man fled the scene at about 8pm, according to reports.


Honest Officer I was taking car numbers and I needed to get closer as they travelled so fast I couldn't read the plate.

dont they have anti suicide barriers on bridges there? they are slowly doing it here.... it also stops bored kids/teens throwing stuff/rocks/bricks at cars!
