Exhaust gas pressure sensor: how connect the hoses?

Since I still have issues with engine faults, my plan is to change the exhaust gas pressure sensor. (I have a feeling this one might be the culprit, and buying a new one is cheaper than having a professional mechanic have a look at it)

This is the original one:


And this is the one I got now:

They look different, but they should be compatible.
However, my main question is: what about the hoses? Does it matter which one goes where, or not?  And if it does, how do I know which one should go where?

Well, it does matter. Putting them in the wrong order gives error P0472.

Unfortunatly changing the sensor didn't solve my problem with errors P2002 and P1406.
But the strange thing is: In the wrong order, P2002 doesn't come as easy and the car doesn't go into limp mode. However I'm not sure what it means for DPF regeneration. Will the error prevent regeneration? That would be a problem.
