hello there.
November 26, 2010, 18:03:21
I had previously seen an i30 on display in the metro centre (shopping mall) and i like it so our first stop was the hyundai garage (you can guess how this ended lol) and we asked to see a few i30's. Well i was familiar with the older shape but when the salesman showed me the very latest i30 it was love at first sight.
I wanted an automatic because i have a bone disease in my hips and the less work i do driving the less pain it is for me, the i30 left me breathless on the test drive, smooth changes and punchy. But fun to drive.
Well it was settled for us and so now its time to show you our pride and joy which was delivered this morning.

Welcome Martin, nice car.
Looks like I just got out of the Northern Hemisphere in time. The snow actually arrived on our last night in Vancouver after flirting with us across Scotland and in Boston and Toronto.
I'm sure you'll have plenty of happy miles (kilometers) in your new car.
All the best.

Hi and welcome Martin,
I can only say what I've heard about the 2011 i30 models here in Australia ..... Cars manufactured (built) after July 2010 are considered as MY2011 with only minor tweaks and upgrades and are now considered 'model runout specials' for example here you can upgrade from the 1.6ltr petrol engine to the 2ltr petrol as a no cost option. This is all to do with the car dealers not being left with a heap of superseded models.
The proper MY2011 models as I believe it to be are built late October/November onwards and the main upgrade is the inclusion of bluetooth and couple of minor items, But all the i30 range will in cure a $500.00 price increase.
Safe driving Martin

Welcome Martin
I wish you have a great time with your baby. With all that snow around... you can drive your car later
PS: (maybe i'm wrong but) at the first pic looks like the seam between the bonnet and mask is slightly uneven(?) If so, you can easily adjust the bump-stops.
