I am downloading the 85MB file now.. they said A$5.75, when I went to pay by paypal they said the conversion was A$5.91 and then when the transaction was completed they said thanks for the A$6.03

Glad I didn't buy something expensive (like a car!)

I did a search of the document which doesn't appear to have a an index (although it is searchable via the PDF search box) and the 1.6 Diesel does get a mention but it seems more designed for the 2.0 litre Gasoline/ Unleaded engine in the USA and Canada models (which are pretty much Identical to Trish's CW)

PS: I found heaps of "workshop manual related" info on the revamped GSW website (you have to change the dropdown to select i30/Elantra/Neos)

I must say that I am not all that impressed with the manual. The dismantling and assembly instructions are rather sparse and assume a level of mechanical knowledge I do not possess. I am not able to find reference to the 1.6 CRDi manual car I own which leaves me unsure whether the rest of the manual is applicable to my model.

Ugly Mongrel might want to look at page 795 for the procedure to remove the Auto Shift Lever Knob - the subject of a long separate thread that has run for a few weeks. You need to use some imagination to determine exactly how to remove the knob.

Having had this little moan - it is still an interesting item to add to my library - you never know how it might help in the future.

Good find Alan.. That would be better for Diesel owners I reckon..

As AlanHo says the other manual appears to be for the US and Canada Market 2.0 Petrol model (but apart from the motor the rest should be applicable)

The diagrams and layout of the the Manual could have been a lot better and cant belive no index (as PDF lends itself to a clickable index system)

I downloaded the files almost immediately. After about 10 minutes I received an email with a reference number, and I could download it again.

I'm with you Daz... could have been ALOT better.
A simple maintenence section would have solved alot of needless looking.
Did anyone find a full wiring diagram? I gave up looking.

Egg on my face.

The CEEd manual CD arrived this morning. Quick look it seems rather basic compared with the Terracan workshop manual I bought a few years back.

So, apologies for my earlier post..........however

Do a search for RapidManuals and draw your own conclusion from the dozens of derogatory comments posted and the fact the website gives an address which does not exist, one of several it seems.

This manual resembles me AMM (aircraft maintenance manual), but less detailed and impossible to choose the sub-chapters (chapters only).

The Kia Ceed, workshop manual arrived today. ( CD Rom) I am having problems with the downloading of the shop manual viewer, it says it has installed OK, but does not work.

My system Windows 7.

If I get it working I will let you know.

Set Up Folder:

It tries to load MS Net framework 2. On my computer it is version 4, therefore it will not load correctly,

& states it is not compatible with my system, Window 7.
