This forum and english

Am I the only active user on this forum that has not english as native language, if so why?
Most of the other users disappear or just lurk around.
Am I the only nordic member? nobody from Denmark, Norway, Sweden or Finland?
I'm curious

We have at least one Swedish member but can't remember who it is at the moment...

Nick from Belgium is fairly active sometimes and I'm sure there are other non-english members who are reasonably active as well (Although not quite up to your standards...)

I guy I work offshore with sometimes - from Aberdeen - is called John, but I always call him "Ken" anyway - it drives him up the wall. Lucky he is a good guy and not like Begby from train spotting or I'd probably be glassed by now...

Most of our "other than English main language members" do a great job of communicating on this site... I wouldn't be game to go to the Spanish or Korean site and try and contribute in their language...

Funnily enough, tiny, I passed my "O" levels (educational certificates at 16 years old) at top grade "A" in French, German, Spanish and Latin.

I failed English Literature and English Language as "U" (meaning "unclassified"). It was the talk of the school.

But that was in 1975

Oh and to answer your question.. I recently rang up a German supplier of "NuWave Ovens" and requested a return and reorder, entirely in German. You don't lose it, although my Latin hasn't come in handy recently
