Hello. I've recently bought an i30 and I'm having trouble finding the fader settings on the standard radio. I can find the balance setting (ie left or right) but not the fader between front and back. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I found it but curiously it only shows when you are playing via cd or usb, not when its on radio. Very strange.

Sorry to be a little late on this but as the proud owner of the supplement to the owners handbook for the FD-01 radio I can offer this little gem :-
4. Audio Settings .
The tone and individual speaker levels may be adjusted.
1) Press the TUNER knob and the display will show BASS and the current level setting.
2) Turn the knob to adjust the level.
3) To advance to the next setting, press knob again.
4) The sequence of audio settings that may be adjusted using the above process is as follows:-
   -»  BASS -» MIDDLE -» TREBLE -» BAL L - R -» FADER F - R -» BEEP 2ND -»  LOUD ON.
Note:- When an EQ is activated BASS, MIDDI.E, TREBLE and LOUD are not displayed.
Note:- Some vehicles do not have rear speakers installed so no sound will be heard if the FADER settings are set to the rear. In this case, always set to FADER F – R.

I have modified the text a little but others may have similar problems.
