G'day!

Ive been in the market for a new car lately and have been roaming around trying to find somthing that ticks all the boxes, ie warranty, economy, enjoyment and good feel. I have a project car in the shed thats just too radical to drive on the road on a regular basis anymore so I wandered into a hyundai dealership last night and after about 3 hours of annoying the sales guy i baught a new White i30 sx 2.0ltr manual and a new black 2dr i20 manual.

i was able to have the i20 straight away so i was able to drive that home last night, and i was really surprised how much i like it, all be it a bit underpowered ( not really an issue for me )

I hope to get my i30 by wednesday next week.

This has been a big turn around for me since ive been in falcons since i was born.

So G'day from me!!

  • Sorry, but my karma just ran over your dogma.
Welcome to the best i30 club on the planet, digital.
If you liked the i20, just wait until you give the i30 a punch.
We'll look forward to seeing some photos soon.

G'day Digital,

I went from a Commodore to the i30, and haven't looked back.  The Hyundai brand just keeps ticking all of the correct boxes IMO.

Yep Welcome from me too Digital... excellent choice of cars... I have the i30 petrol Premium 1.6 & my wife has a Kia Picanto... both have been superb.  :D

Truthfully N/A modern cars will always feel underpowered... but the good news is economy, reliability & brand satisfaction... The 2 cars you now own are regularly featured & praised for being in the Top 3 of their sector...  :goodjob2:

Add to the above this Forum & there is plenty of help, support & ideas from the guys & girls here... this really is the best Forum I have joined... Top folks...  :winker:

Hi Digital.. Gee I think you might overdose on the new car smell

Dont forget to post some pix, please  :winker: (using an external hosting site as per the welcome thread tutorial)

We will be almost as interested in the i20 as the i30 as not many of our members have one of those  :goodjob:

Thanks for the photos.. I'm not normally a fan of Black cars but your i20 looks great.

Don't see heaps of the i20's on the road down here. quite like the look of the 2 door (even the wheel covers are a nice design) Congratulations  :happydance:

Thanks guys. Il throw some up of the i30 when i get to see the car itself :)

Black cars are a pain. i have had a few so i knew what i was getting into. but i figured the way these are build its small and very easy to clean.
When i find a place that sells polyglaze around here il polyglaze over the wet look and she'l be glossy as.

Finally got my I30!!!! Wooohooo!

Its a bit wierd now because i have had the i20 for a week already. I must say the i30 feels big and heavy compared, lots more body roll, better comfort ride and more power down low.
