A Herefordshire toll bridge that offers a tax-free income has been bought by two entrepreneurs.

The Whitney-on-Wye bridge was built in 1797 by an Act of Parliament that also exempts the toll income from tax.

The firm who sold the bridge estimated that the owner can expect to make £2,000-a-week from the 80p toll.

Do they have toll bridges in Tassie or even on the main land

No toll bridges in Tassie that I am aware (or toll roads) but there are charges to enter some National parks (including Port Arthur Penal Colony)    Lots of toll roads on the mainland  and some are bridges but not little ones like that?

Edit: We have one or two ferry crossings in Tassie that you have to pay for (where there is no bridge)

Not sure how much (but not cheap) Unless you get an annual pass to all parks..
