Hi all.  I've been doing some research on the net looking at windshield mounts for an iPad.  Their are a wide range of mounts available , ranging in price from $25 to $100. 

Has anyone purchased a mount or had any experience with using one for an iPad?

I would have thought that iPad would be too big for the windshield, and obscure the view.

And also, you must live in an area with zero crime as an iPad to me would be a BIG sign saying here I am come and steal me..................   ???????????????????????

The iPad is not much bigger than what a lot of taxi drivers are currently using in my area and many of the mounts allow for the iPad to be placed over the dash.

I would not leave the device in the car when unattended.  That's just asking for trouble.
