+ took part in the first mass bicycle riding across Kolpino this night, that lasted 2 hours, although it was cold and I didn't bother to put my socks on I didn't caught cold and I'm fine and happy                 there were 100 people in total

- my windshield window cracked when something, it seemed to be stone, struck it   
+ I do have an insurance, fortunately, so I will pay nothing for a new window then
- I will have to spend at least one day without my car

Today we visited the Australian War Memorial in Canberra, something I have wanted to do for almost all my adult life but for one reason and another it hasn't happened.
A VERY moving experience. I had tears in my eyes on more than one occasion but as we were going back out there was a very overweight guy who looked like he might be suffering a range of health problems, sitting and  just looking up past the Eternal Flame and the rears were rolling unhindered down his face. I have no idea what his demons were or if he was just simply moved to be there as I was but the whole place seems to have that sort of effect on anyone old enough to understand why it exists.
If you haven't been there, try to see it before you run out of time on this earth.

I go there, each visit to Canberra. Definitely a moving experience. I always come away annoyed at government's allowing wars to exist at all, then expecting the general population to pay the ultimate price.

If you're going to have a war, then pollies & Generals on the front line for the duration, I say.

I've been there a couple of times and it is well worth the visit.
I've mentioned before on here that my grandfather served in WW1 in the army (after lying about his age to enlist) and also in WW11 in the RAF.
He always joked that he'd go into the navy in WW111 but he died aged 98.
Next time I'm in Canberra I'll go and have another look.
