Truthfully, I think this is another one of Microsoft's bullshit anti-competitive actions. Hyundai builds a capability offering for Apple's iPods in the i30, and a few months later they're signing a deal to put Microsoft computer systems in their cars (instead?).

The advertising question will likely be resolved in similar fashion to PayTV in Australia - when released, no ad's. That was its selling point. Now, more ad's than Free2Air - when we get so used to our in-car computer systems that we rely on them, advertising will ensue.
