Hi!

First of all, thanks for a great forum, lots of inspiration.

Do any of you know if it is possible to change to km pr. liter, instead of litres pr. 100 kilometres ?
I'm used to measuring in the firstmentioned, so it is rather confusing to switch to a completely different system.

I know it has been done on some of our earlier cars (an Octavia and a Mondeo), so hopefully it can be done on a Hyundai as well.

The model is a 1.6 CRDi from 2007.

Why not just use a site like this.. Doubt it can be changed on the dash though

It is not possible for the owner to change the settings.

There is a remote chance it may be done by the dealer - try asking him (but don't hold your breath)

Don't know about the car, but if you have to have it that way, it would be 100/???? where ???? is the reported lts / 100k

eg 10lts / 100

= 100 / 10 = 10 kms / litre

or 5.5lts /  100

= 100 /  5.5 = 18.18. kms / litre

In that link I posted you can refine the chart to read much closer figures.. If to copy and paste the chart for .1 increments from say 4.5 LPH to 6 LPH and print that on some laminated photo paper and keep that in your centre console
